The day has come! Your significant other got down on one knee and asked the four questions you've been waiting to hear "Will You Marry Me?". After the initial excitement, the sheer panic of future wedding planning sets in. Schedules, centerpieces, the dress, the flowers, party favors, invitations, photos, venues, the honeymoon; however will you get it all done in time?! Not to fear, Black Stiletto Photography is here! Well to ease your photography worries that is! (Don't stress, the rest will all work out as planned too, I promise.) Hopefully the following information will help ease your mind when it comes to capturing your special day!

"Why should I hire Black Stiletto Photography to capture the most important day of my life," you may ask. Let me tell you why, Black Stiletto Photography specializes in capturing the most important moments and details at your wedding. With an approach that blends contemporary, portraiture and traditional styles of photography, [to sum it up documentary photography] to capture your special day in all its warmth, love and grandeur for eternity.
Now let me walk you through my process. First we meet for the consult to go over every little detail. Second, I shoot your engagement session, this allows me to get to know you, the couple a little bit better. As well it allows for you to get comfortable with me photographing you. This gives you a bit of a feel as to how the photos on your wedding day will go. Between the engagement session and your wedding day I will keep in contact in case you have any concerns, ideas, or changes that need to be made. And yes when I say ideas I mean any idea you have for your wedding photos please let me know (and show me examples if you'd like!). The goal is to make the entire day authentically you, and I will do what ever it takes to make sure your images properly portray just that!
The count down is over. The big day is finally here! I arrive just before the agreed upon time to set up. You've selected the full day package, because you don't want to miss anything. While the bridal party is getting ready I begin capturing the small details; the rings, the shoes, the gorgeous dress hanging in front of a sun lit window. The brides mother dabbing a tear from her eye as she reminisces about her daughter as a toddler. Laughter, and smiles as the bridal party socializes whilst getting their hair and make up done. The flower girl, who can't stop starring at the "beautiful princess" as the brides mother does up the back of her dress.
Music softly plays in the background, the groom and his groomsmen enter the room. He waits patiently (and nervously) at the alter. Everyone rises, his bride walks through the door towards him and "click" I capture him trying to sneakily wipe a tear from his smiling face. Throughout the ceremony I document everything. While you are focused on each other (as you should be), I will be photographing the wedding party, guests smiling, the two of your looking at one another adoringly. The exchange of the rings, signing of the papers, the ring bearer and flower girl stealthily picking petals off the flowers behind the the bridesmaids. Last but not least "You may now kiss your bride".
This is all within the first half of your wedding day! From there we do formal photos at the location(s) of your choosing, the reception and first dance as husband and wife. I capture and document every little detail along the way so that after your wedding you can look back and remember everything for years to come.
Your wedding day has now passed, you've received your online gallery to view and order your prints as well as the digital files so you can begin choosing the images for your custom art 8" x 8" album. We sit down together and create a unique album, tailored specifically to you and your style. A couple weeks later I deliver you, your album and prints for you to share with friends and family. Precious, timeless memories to last a lifetime.
